The Snite Museum of Art strives to create positions for students to work closely with a specific Museum department while allowing moments for broad learning of museum practice.

The Digital & Special Projects Assistant will work directly with our Digital & Special Projects Program Manager to assist them in the type of work below.

Projects/work assignments may include:
- Digitizing collection objects – Inventorying the collection and preparing metadata
- Support digital projects throughout the Museum
- These may include interviewing people for YIELD
- Assisting with web design
- Other related digital projects
- Event photography, and other documentary work

Skills and qualifications:
- Extreme attention to detail
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Bridge, Camera Raw, Photoshop)
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and collaboratively as part of a team
- Knowledge of DSLR camera
- Ability to maintain a regular schedule

This position is open to all students, but priority will be given to Notre Dame students. A background in art or art history is not necessary
