Post Doctoral Researcher
Medicine | School Biomedical Sciences Neuroscience
Post Doctoral Researcher to pursue continued research experience and training within the Department of Neuroscience; conducts independent research under the guidance of his/her scientific mentor to investigate the neuroinflammatory processes in pre-clinical models of nerve injury and spinal cord injury. A list of specific duties include performing experimental techniques including microscopy, small animal modeling, molecular biology (e.g., PCR, Western blots, etc.).
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Doctorate Degree or an equivalent of education and experience. Previous research experience preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
