Responsibilities* - Provide excellent customer service by proactively communicating with and advising faculty & staff on pest control activities and treatment application schedules.
- Develop and implement pest control treatment plans.
- Coordinate and conduct pest control surveys and pesticide applications.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of pest inspections and monitoring systems.
- Maintain records management system of pest control treatment.
- Coordinate the development and conduct of pest control health and safety regulations, evaluate pest control procedures, practices and products to assure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications* - 5-10 years experience in structural pest control.
- High School diploma or GED and some college level coursework, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification by the State of Michigan as a Pesticide Applicator (7A & 7B).
- Considerable knowledge of the use and application of pest control products.
- Knowledge of various eradication methods.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all times across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently yet collaboratively with a team.
