Summary Purpose You will provide academic advising to graduate level students, with a focus on One Year Masters (OYM) students. You will report to the Director of Graduate Academic Advising and help students navigate degree requirements to complete the program. You Will: Academic Advising (OYM, other graduate programs) - Work with appropriate Ross Registrar's Office and relevant Program Offices to advise MM, MAcc, MSCM, MBan, FTMBA, and PTMBA students concerning class selections and academic planning related to their specific degree program, course load to support their educational and career goals. Ensure students are aware of degree requirements, academic rules and policies.
- Coach students in skills that will support academic success (e.g., time management, calendar and email management, organization, etc.).
- Be a contact for students with unanticipated emergency situations that may impact their academic performance and/or completion of their degree. Communicate with students, faculty, and other University units as appropriate to provide students with support and appropriate resources.
Presentations and Special Projects - Collaborate with relevant Program Offices to ensure student needs are met, especially around registration and the course bidding process.
- Organize subject-specific presentations, present information at program orientations, and assist with other special projects.
- Host relevant academics-related workshops for OYM students.
- Create and manage resources to ensure students understand Ross-specific academics-related processes and resources.
- Manage updates to iMpact and other relevant websites to reflect changes to the curriculum and graduation requirements.
You Have: - Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience is required.
- Experience in an educational, professional, team-oriented environment.
- Experience counseling students in an educational setting.
- Must be able to set priorities, work simultaneously on numerous tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.Must have deep dedication to customer service, quality management, and team approach to work.

Salary Information: The general salary range for this position is $49,000 - $54,000. Candidates can expect to be paid a competitive and equitable salary. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position.
