Student Research Assistant needed for the Multilingual Indexing and Search Interface (MISI) project, a digital humanities project begun in collaboration between the Mardigian Library and the Michigan Iranian-American Oral History Project. The Student Research Assistant will report to MISI project team members Camron Michael Amin and Tim Streasick, and attend regular project team meetings.
The ideal candidate can demonstrate proficiency in CSS, Git, and responsive web design. They should also demonstrate excellent communication and task management skills. While not required, comfort with React and Node.js would be beneficial to the candidate, though any necessary training could be provided.
Flexible hours averaging 5-10 hours per week. The term of employment may be extended contingent on project funding.
