Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology or Clinical Psychology with relevant experience. Must be licensed in the State of Tennessee as a Psychologist with Health Service Provider (HSP) designation.

Duties & Responsibilities |
Consults with faculty and staff regarding difficult students with mental health issues. Oversees all planning, training and clinical aspects of the doctoral internship in professional psychology and practicum training. Attends seminars, workshops, and other activities to stay current on advances in field.

Oversees the maintenance of records and preparation of reports regarding the activities and operations of the intern program. Analyzes data for preparation of reports to administration, American Psychological Association, and Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers. Participates in outreach including preventive presentations, workshops, programs, and public relations.

Monitors and evaluates intern performance; provides guidance and direction to interns. Maintains contact with intern’s academic program; coordinates/administers evaluation of supervision of interns. Provides services in a 24 hour crisis intervention program; serves on-call periodically; responds to emergencies.
