Responsibilities*

Maintains records of materials in inventory and on order. Provides information to determine status of current orders and to forecast needs for future orders. Compiles records of amount, type, and value of material or stock on hand. Monitors reorder points, and initiates action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories. Notifies supervisor of irregularities and when stock reaches designated reorder point. Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of inventories and computes inventory balances, prices and costs. Operates a personal computer and appropriate software packages or its equivalent. Applies advanced skills to the position within assigned functional area. Adapts procedures, processes and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position. Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Assignments are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity. May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues. Interacts with equipment representatives.  Works under general supervision and reports to the Chief CRNA and C&W. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor’s Degree; experience will be considered in lieu of degree as applicable
  • 5 years of professional experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory control or anesthesia tech work
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of material flow and information analysis
  • Ability to lift up 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and follow through
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be a self-motivated, detail oriented individual who is independent and has the ability to multitask

Background Screening
