Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation Post-Doctoral Scholar to pursue specialized research training, education and experience under the guidance of scientific mentors collaborating across Sports Medicine and College of Veterinary Medicine; plans, designs and executes experiments of considerable scope and complexity in orthobiologics and stem cell research; contribute to clinical trial design and execution; collects and analyzes data for research; identifies and selects problems to be studied; develops and troubleshoots new experimental techniques and protocols; attends research seminars; contributes to manuscript preparation and supports technical writing; participates in preparation of grant applications for extramural funding.   

Doctoral degree in a biological or health sciences field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; experience in lab techniques is strongly preferred; scientific publication record desired; requires successful completion of a background check; selected candidate may be required to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.


Additional Information:

The Ohio State University’s Sports Medicine Institute is an inter-disciplinary program integrating specialists in orthopaedics, primary care, emergency medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, physical therapy, athletic training, nutrition, radiology and sports medicine behavioral health, as well as PhD researchers and clinician scientists.  It includes over 300 faculty and staff, 7 outpatient clinic locations and a state-of-the-art facility housing motion capture and surgical skill labs.  Sports Medicine ambition is to be a leading sports medicine provider and partner of choice as well as a national destination for talent, discovery and learning via innovation and thought leadership.
