Qualifications Required
Experience operating large grounds equipment, Bobcat, snow equipment. Will be required to obtain a State Applicators pesticide license. Knowledge of sprinkler repair and controls. Mechanical ability to maintain equipment would be useful, but not required. Ability to read and follow technical instructions to set up and convert equipment for winter operations preferred. Substantial level of physical effort required to operate snow-blowers, shovel snow, push spreaders for de-icing. Experience with landscape maintenance and proper tree pruning, install and upkeep preferred. Annual flower application experience preferred as well.
General Summary
Full-time Grounds/Maintenance tech. Responsible for grounds-keeping, fertilizing, spraying, tree pruning, and maintenance duties. Will perform snow removal during winter months. Sprinkler repair, equipment upkeep, and assisting other techs as needed. Some event set-up will be done throughout the year.
