Job Description
 

The Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) Department at the University of Missouri (MU) invites applications for a 12 - 16 month postdoc position supporting a U.S. Army funded research project. Applications are sought from candidates who can help conduct innovative research in geospatial decision support for applications such as humanitarian assistance and disaster response. The successful applicant will have a strong background in geographic information systems (GIS), geospatial analysis and modeling, and data visualization.


Qualifications
 

The qualified candidate will have a doctoral degree awarded in geography, engineering, informatics or a related field by the time the position starts.

Consideration will be given to applicants who have expertise in working with ESRI GIS Software products, programming (e.g., C, Python, etc.), cloud computing (e.g., AWS), and geospatial data visualization - as well as experience working with government/military personnel.
