Postdoctoral Research Associates – Biochemistry, Molecular and cell Biology
Postdoctoral Researcher positions are available immediately in Dr. Rong Huang’s lab at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry & Molecular Pharmacology/ Institute for Drug Discovery at Purdue University. More research information can be found out at www.rhuanglab.com .
Core Competencies
Position will focus on identification and characterization of novel proteins and understanding the biochemical mechanism and biological impacts of protein methylation. Required extensive experience in biochemical and cell-based assays development, enzyme kinetics, immunoprecipitation, and pulldown studies. Experience in protein-protein interaction validation is a plus.

Education
The position requires a PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, or a related field of study that has equipped the applicant with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the duties of the position. Additionally, post doc candidates should have at least two first author publications (out or in press) in peer-reviewed journals.
