- Where: Forestry & Natural Resources, Purdue University, EPA Great Lakes National Program Office, Chicago, IL.
Description: 2-Year GLRI-funded postdoctoral associate position mentored by Paris Collingsworth (Purdue University/IL-IN Sea Grant) and Jake Hosen (Purdue University).
The successful applicant will use more than 10 years of sensor data from the Great Lakes to model carbon and nitrogen cycling, among other biogeochemical processes. Water quality data include, but are not limited to, UV-Vis absorbance, fluorescence, and dissolved oxygen.
The postdoc in this position will also collect and analyze samples from the RV Lake Guardian to support and enhance sensor analysis.

- Qualifications
- A PhD in ecosystem ecology, limnology, biogeochemistry, or related field.
Experience with statistical programming software (e.g., R, Python).
Experience with aquatic environmental sensors.
