RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is essential to support general lab organization as well as operation and also assist a graduate student and a postdoctoral researcher. The purpose is to study the mechanisms underlying seasonal environmental responses in plants.

This position is critical for the smooth operation of the lab and includes repetitive tasks of performing basic molecular biology and research plant care.

The person for this position is responsible for ordering lab items and organizing lab stocks. This person is also involved in research under the supervision of a PI, a postdoc, and a grad student. The research category is molecular genetics.

Research: performs experiments under the supervision of the PI, postdocs, and/or grad student

Project Management: organize and order lab stocks and supplies

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Two years experience as a Laboratory Technician II, or equivalent; OR a Bachelors Degree in an appropriate field of science or technology.
