Position Description |
Kota Laboratory at Harvard School of Dental Medicine Kota Laboratory at Harvard School of Dental Medicine is seeking a motivated postdoctoral candidate to study gene expression and epigenetic regulation of skeletal diseases. Under the direction of the principal investigator, conducts a variety of routine experiments using molecular, cell biology, biochemistry techniques and mouse colony management. Record data, summarizes, and analyzes results using basic statistics. Successful candidates will have a strong background and demonstrated ability in Cell biology and Molecular biological techniques including culture, maintenance of primary cells, transient and stable transfection, DNA/RNA, protein extraction and purification, standard and quantitative PCR, western blot etc). Experience in mouse colony management is required. This position is grant funded and appointed on an annual basis. Basic Qualifications |
B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, life sciences or a related discipline with related work experience required.
