Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program (Data) Coordinator for Education & Planning at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. The primary purpose of the Data Coordinator position is to track and maintain key educational outcome metrics and maintain databases to support the evaluation and measurement objectives of the Cancer Research Training and Career Enhancement (CRTCE) core of Rutgers Cancer Institute. The individual in this position ensures data accuracy and integrity through regular checks with administrative staff and faculty and enhances our ability to provide accurate reports demonstrating the impact of CRTCE initiatives. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Assists in data collection to track metrics on awards, seminal papers, career outcomes and successes of all trainees at Rutgers Cancer Institute.
- Enters grant application related data into shared databases. Enters and performs quality control checks of data into databases.
- Assists in identifying, setting, and maintaining appropriate database software. Creates database reports via tools such as ACCESS or REDCap.
- Provides general administrative support for preparing annual reports on metrics/outcomes for Cancer Center Support Grant and other initiatives of CRTCE core.
- Works with the Director of Research Education on tracking outcomes of training grants in appropriate formats as required by funding agency.
- Assists in other projects and related duties as assigned.
