Minimum Qualifications

PhD, MD or DVM and 0 to 3 years of related experience are required.  The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade EE Salary Minimum $47,476

Preferred Qualifications

Potential candidates should have Ph.D. or M.D. degree and strong background in immunology, inflammation, and molecular biology. Practical experience in subcutaneous tumor development and tumor metastasis. Expertise in flow cytometry and regulation of gene expression is desirable.  Mouse and human primary cell and tumor cell line culture, immune and tumor tissue collection, Flow cytometry, Western blotting, PCR, Immunohistology, Confocal analysis.

Position Description

Grant Funded Position. Continued employment contingent on grant renewals.

Position will be substantially involved in full-time research under the mentorship of a senior scholar in preparation for an academic and/or research career.  This position will provide research training and experience in cellular immunology and tumor immunotherapy study.  Previous training in immunology, molecular biology, and mouse in vivo protocols is desirable.  Techniques including cell culture, flow cytometry and mouse tumor model are essential.  The candidate should hold MD /or PhD degree and have motivation to conduct research, collect and analyze data, and assist in research-related tasks on specified projects. Individuals engaged full-time in laboratory-based research shall be considered Postdoctoral Associates.
