The James C. Wyant College of Optical Sciences is seeking applicants to fill a Postdoctoral Research Associate position specializing in extreme NLO Interactions in semiconducting materials.

Duties & Responsibilities |
- The successful candidate will be required to interact closely in a multi-investigator setting with theoretical and experimental physicists.
- Transfer developed parallel C++ computer codes onto in-house shared memory parallel supercomputers.
- Carry out independent research, partially supervise graduate students and disseminate research through publications.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Ph.D in Physics, Applied Mathematics or a related field upon hire.
|
Preferred Qualifications |
- Preference will be given to candidates having a strong publication's record, showing strong leadership and supervisory skills and relevant experience in nonlinear analysis of pdes and parallel computation.
