POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Biological Engineering-Dedon Lab , to develop and apply novel RNA sequencing technologies for quantitative analysis and biomarker development with small RNA populations in bacteria, parasites, mice, rats, human cells, and clinical tissue samples. Both wet and dry skills will be utilized--high-quality RNA purification, high-throughput library preparation, custom data mining and informatics workflows, and multivariate statistical analysis of large datasets.
REQUIRED: Ph.D. in natural sciences; experience in the areas of next-generation nucleic acid sequencing, sample preparation for DNA and RNA purification; and familiarity with sequencing data mining and informatics. PREFERRED: experience with animal handling and tissue processing, experience with multi-omic data integration and analysis, and fellowship eligibility. Job #20636
