A one to two month, short-term fellowship is awarded by the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) in academic research for Ph. D. and master's graduates.
These fellowships are for dissertation or postdoctoral research in different areas within the American culture and history at the American Antiquarian Society’s library. Fellows are expected to work on a scholarly research project that coordinates well with materials in the Society's collections.
Eligibility & Requirements Research project must require use of the Society’s collections.
Scholars holding the Ph.D. and for doctoral candidates engaged in dissertation research.
Candidates with terminal degrees related to their area of proposed research, such as a Master's in Library Information Science (M.L.I.S.) or Master's of Fine Arts (M.F.A) are also eligible to apply.

2 letters of recommendation are needed.
