We are looking for an enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher in computational seismology to join the Department of Earth Sciences at University College London, UK to work on the project UPFLOW ([url=https://upflow-eu.github.io/]https://upflow-eu.github.io/[/url]) funded by the European Research Council (ERC). This position is fixed for 3 years, starting in February 2022 or as soon as possible afterwards and the deadline for application is the 7th of January 2022.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in computational seismology to develop new methods for the design of optimal seismic observables to probe deep upward mantle flow.
Collaborations are envisaged with various institutions worldwide, notably with LMU Munich, Germany (Prof. Heiner Igel).
