Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Center for Cell Signaling within the New Jersey Medical School. The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct independent laboratory research under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI). The Postdoctoral Fellow will use in vivo mouse models to dissect the role of tumor microenvironment in regulating tumor response to KRAS inhibitors and use the knowledge to develop novel cell therapies. The Principal Investigator (PI) will fully support the postdoctoral appointee to apply fellowships, seed grants, travel awards and career development grants. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Conducts multidisciplinary research in cancer biology and immunology with a focus on the discovery of th erapy resistance-associated cells in tumor microenvironment and the development of innate immune cell therapy for cancer.
- Participates in experimental design and carries out experiments including animal surgeries.
- Operates and maintains experimental equipment.
- Records and analyzes data from experiments.
- Maintains a proper data notebook pursuant to the standards of the Department and the PI.
- Contributes to the intellectual development of the project.

- Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or related areas.
