Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Center for Tobacco Studies. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Postdoctoral Fellow will assist in building active programs of research within the Center for Tobacco Studies (CTS). Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Prepares written reports and peer-reviewed manuscripts based on the research conducted at the CTS.
- Participates in new grant submissions that build on existing programmatic research at the CTS.
- May guest lecture in relevant graduate courses.
- Disseminates findings through oral and poster presentations.

Minimum Education and Experience |
- Doctoral degree in public health, behavioral science, health services research, sociology, anthropology, psychology, or a related discipline.

- Strong background in quantitative research methodology.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Knowledge of complex survey datasets (e.g., NSDUH, NHIS, etc) .
- Familiarity with mixed method study protocols or interest in developing such protocols.
