Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Department of Education and Training within Rutgers, Cancer Institute of New Jersey. A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available to join the Immunology/Immunotherapy Team at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct research on the regulation of antitumor immunity/immunotherapy in neuroendocrine tumors of the pancreas. The position provides opportunities to study within multidisciplinary groups and to be involved in clinical/translational research collaborations. Postdoctoral Fellows are expected to establish an innovative, collaborative research program addressing important and fundamental questions of cancer biology. Interdisciplinary and translational approaches are encouraged. Qualified candidates must be in the process of completing training for Ph.D. and/or M.D. graduate degrees with a strong publication record and looking to move to the next stage of their training. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Conducts multidisciplinary research in the area of tumor immunology/immunotherapy.
- Prepares written reports of the research experiments.
- Prepares grant proposals based on the research conducted.
- Gives oral presentations of the research.
