Position Description |
The postdoctoral fellow will work on clinical and nutritional epidemiologic projects related to colorectal cancer. Example projects include studies of diet and the gut microbiome in relation to colorectal cancer incidence and surviorship using the data from the Nurses’ Health Studies and the Health Professionals Follow-up Study; development of risk assessment tools for precision colonoscopy screening and surveillance using the established, electronic health record (EHR)-based cohort in the Mass General Brigham; integration of multi-omics data to better understand the etiology and improve prediction for colorectal cancer in the UK Biobank.

Basic Qualifications |
Successful candidates are expected to have the following:
- Doctoral qualification in epidemiology, bioinformatics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
- Excellent writing skills and expert knowledge of SAS or R.
- A strong ability to collaborate with colleagues within and beyond the research group.

Additional Qualifications |
- Candidates with research experience in omics and EHR are preferred.
