A post-doctoral position is available immediately in the Francis lab to study mechanisms of epigenetic memory using Drosophila as a model system. Experience with Drosophila genetics is required. This is a unique position to join a small team that is working to discover transcription memory mechanisms used by Polycomb Group proteins. The project involves genetics, genomics, genome engineering, cell biology, microscopy, and molecular biology. The lab is located at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM), and is affiliated with U. Montreal and McGill University. This is a one year position, with the possibility to renew.
