Position Description
The Hunter Lab at The Rowland Institute at Harvard is now accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position starting Fall 2021. This position will end at Harvard University on August 31, 2022, but is renewable at Northwestern University when the lab moves in Fall 2022.
The Hunter Group focuses on developing molecules and materials for sustainable large-scale industrial processes, such as solar-driven seawater splitting, electrochemical nitrogen fixation and CO2 reduction, and selective hydrocarbon oxidation.
This position will involve synthesis and characterization of molecular and heterogeneous CO2 reduction catalysts. Candidates with expertise in all related areas of inorganic and materials chemistry are encouraged to apply. A working knowledge of on-line product detection using gas chromatography is highly desirable.
Applications will be considered beginning October 1, 2021, and will be considered until the position is filled.
The Rowland Institute will not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Basic Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field, by the time the appointment begins.
