The Book Designer will work closely with other designers and editors to create and produce books, bulletins, course materials, and other publications in print and digital formats. Working with stakeholders, the designer will conceptualize and create book covers, graphics, and highly formatted text that communicates complex legal, financial, or local-government-related ideas.
The successful candidate for this position will have a strong foundation in graphic design principles and will be detail-oriented and extremely organized.

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or an equivalent of combination of training and experience.

2. Ability to follow established processes and procedures including file management.
3. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Experience designing and formatting books is preferred but not required.
