Highland Community College is accepting applications for a part-time grant-funded Fiscal/Data Analyst for the Adult Education Program. This position will work 15-20 hours per week. Associate’s degree in Business Management or a related field with two (2) years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and computerized financial systems or equivalent, and/or accounting experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred. This position provides critical support to the Director for fiscal operations, including program liabilities and submission of financial reports. The position will perform the accounting operations for the grant and will assist in pre- and post-allocation budget and grant applications.
This position will serve as the liaison with funding sources and auditors to ensure compliance with laws and requirements and will maintain appropriate cash flow and accurate budget records. Must have skills in understanding and applying funding source standards, policies, procedures and requirements; and must-have skill in relating financial information to programmatic issues. On occasion this position acts as backup to the department office staff.
