Under the direction of the Oasis Senior Center Board of Directors (Board), the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) shall be executing policies, programs, and services approval by the Board and in conformity with the Board's By-Laws policies, procedures, and regulations governing any grant from public or private sources.

Specific duites include but not limited to the following:

1. Administer and oversee the day to day operations of the Center in accord with the policies established by the Board.

2. To set long term goals and specific short-term objectives to secure financial funding, implement program services and expand membership.

3. In conjunction with the Executive Board provide an agenda for the monthly Board of Directors meeting.

4. Ensure that all Board committees report to the Board in a timely manner.

5. Oversees the volunteer corps.

6. Responsible for the training and orientation of all Oasis paid staff and volunteers.

7. Oversees the hiring and supervision of all paid staff and assures compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws.

8. Attend periodic committee meetings to share information and receive input.

9. Approve and coordinate programs and activities offered by or under the direction of the Oasis.

10. Development and maintenance of working relationships with service providers, funding sources, and appropriate organizations at the local, regional, state, and national levels.

11. Conduct and oversees extensive public relations efforts to assure a widespread cognizance and positive image of the Oasis.

2. Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with staff, Senior Citizens, general public, vendors, partners, elected officials, and the press.

3. Leadership skills.

4. Knowledge of financial practices and management

5. Collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree preferred

2. Valid Illinois Drivers License

3. Skills in computer technology and appliacations

4. Three years' experience in an executive/leadership position preferably with a non-profit organization.

5. Demonstrated skills in decision making, corporate business partners, personnel management, and grant management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
