- Full-time Teacher (click for job description) positions are guaranteed 40 hours per week and 12 months per year, including summer and winter hours.
- Part-time Teacher (click for job description) positions are guaranteed 27.5 hours per week and 12 months per year, including summer and winter hours.
- Part-time Teacher Aide (click for job description) positions are guaranteed 27.5 hours per week and 12 months per year, including summer and winter hours.
Educational Requirements for Teachers can be completed during the first year of employment, costs of educational requirements are included for all Teachers as an employee benefit.
All positions are eligible for overtime compensation (non-exempt). Hours are expected to be Monday-Friday, generally within the hours of 7:30 am to 6:30 pm; however, hours may vary according to the needs of the program.
LTCC offers a competitive compensation package that includes a starting placement salary of $15.51 to $17.99 hourly, dependent on education and experience. There is potential to reach $20.87 hourly, through step advancement plus longevity when appropriate.
In addition to base salary, these positions qualify for extra bilingual (Spanish), masters, or doctorate pay. LTCC provides 16 paid holidays per year plus vacation accrual and 12 days sick leave per year
Full-time employees receive Health and Welfare benefits which include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long term disability. These benefits also include full coverage of a gold-level medical plan which, on average, covers 80% of healthcare expenses for a standard population.
