Lab Aide II will assist all instructors and Advanced Manufacturing staff in the training of Advanced Manufacturing Students to include composites, aerospace assembly, rail technology, injection molding, thermoforming, and other manufacturing by maintaining lab facilities, tool and material inventories, and preparing materials for classes.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab spaces for Advanced Manufacturing programs
Track Inventories of tools and materials
Prepare tool kits and materials for instructors
Special projects as assigned
Assist instructors in class with student projects as needed
3 years manufacturing/trades experience
Experience working with adult learners
Experience tracking tool inventories
Experience with composites and aluminum fabrication
Experience with hand/power tools
Ability to learn
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Good communication skills
Must be adaptable, flexible, and have the ability to multi-task
Keep detailed records
