Description of Duties: Teach fifteen (15) credit hours per semester and maintain a minimum of fifteen (15) office hours per week. Responsible for the coordination of the laboratory associated with Human Anatomy. Inventory and order laboratory supplies. Work collaboratively with laboratory assistants to ensure proper preparation and set up of each section. Perform other duties as assigned by the Division Dean. This is a nine (9) month, tenure-track position. Summer teaching may be available. The hours may vary and may require some evening and weekend assignments. This position is subject to random drug testing as set forth in the College's Policies and Procedures Manual.
Master's Degree in Biological Sciences or related discipline or Master's Degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Biological Sciences and two (2) years college teaching experience. Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Light lifting up to 10 lbs and light carrying up to 10 lbs. Ability to reach above shoulder. Periods of time spent sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending and stooping.
Doctorate in Biological Sciences or related discipline. Three (3) years college teaching experience, preferably in a community college environment. Preference given to individuals with strong anatomical sciences background and teaching experience in anatomical sciences.
