Provide Helicopter Advanced Readiness Program (HARP) Operations Support to Helicopter Maritime Strike Weapons School Pacific (HSMWSP).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience: This position shall have knowledge of the objectives and planning requirements for HARP, differences in HARP requirements for Expeditionary, Carrier, and Forward Deployed Squadrons in relation to evaluation and reporting requirements of HARP events. The position shall be familiar with the terminology and operation of aviation combat systems. The SME shall have experience as a MH60R/S pilot or aircrew and previously qualified as an Aircrew Combat Training Continuum (ACTC) Level III within the past five years. This position shall have the skills to evaluate collected data in order to efficiently resolve or recover missing and/or incomplete data using MS-Excel or other approved data manipulation software tools. This position may be required to travel in order to provide support of HARP detachments on-site at training location when required.
General Skills: Possess sound knowledge of the MH-60R/S mission and systems with an understanding of applicable pilot and aircrew tasks, duties, aircraft systems, operations, tactics, and Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills.
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Security Clearance: Must currently possess a security clearance of "Secret" or above.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Weapons School with the planning, coordination, and execution of HARP events and provide direct support with HARP data collection, data interpretation, data evaluation and data presentation. This will include assistance with scheduling squadron and detachment HARP events, scheduling ranges, coordinating ground training events, coordinating NCEA requirements, developing event scenarios, drafting pre- and post-HARP messages, drafting pre- and post-HARP brief and debrief presentations and managing a HARP evaluation database comprised of HARP metrics from classroom academic events, pre- and post-test results, practical exercises, simulator, and flight events.
- Act as the resident expert on the HARP database and provide training to staff members as required. Work with on-site SMEs to incorporate change requirements for HARP flight data entry sheets and revisions of the HARP database during the HARP preparation phase.
- Gather, analyze, interpret, and report data collected during HARP events in support of unit HARP evaluations. This position requires daily interaction with Weapons and Tactics Instructors (WTI) and must possess the ability to communicate effectively using community-specific terms, and phraseology. This position is required to provide support of all HARP detachments on-site and at training detachment locations when required.
- Additional duties, when not performing HARP database tasks, shall include but are not limited to: HARP detachment administrative support including before, during, and after HARP detachments; Weapons School class administrative support such as student material preparation, classroom preparation, survey and feedback collection, and analysis of responses; the preparation of executive summary presentations; courseware and instructor murder board administrative support; and the preparation of HARP Instructor-Under-Training syllabus and materials.

Hourly rate is $72.75 plus health and welfare.
