Job Summary
The Project Coordinator plays a key role in the Monitoring the Future longitudinal panel survey research project. The MTF Panel study also conducts a number of important supplemental studies to investigate innovative study procedures and outcomes. Working closely with the Project Coordinator this position will perform a variety of tasks to ensure the success of these survey research projects and the annual MTF survey of over 20,000 participants per year. This position will manage all aspects of the mortality status coding of the study sample of over 116,000 participants. Please note: The salary for this position at an 80% effort would fall within the range of $44,000 to $56,000.

Responsibilities*
National Death Index (NDI) Project Development (20%)
As part of the panel leadership team, assist in the development, management and daily activities of the National Death Index coding project for the Monitoring the future Panel study. The project involves determining study participant mortality status as compared to current project data, and evaluating NDI death certificate matches which appropriately assigns cause of death. The sample size for each full submission to NDI is approximately 22,000 participants and 55,000 death certificates.

Work Locations
You'll work on-site at the University of Michigan, Institute of Social Research, Survey Research Center in Ann Arbor. We offer flexibility for hybrid work within our overall Center guidelines.
