Job Title:
STEP Program Coordinator

The STEP program coordinator assists with implementation of the Second-Year Transformational Experience Program (STEP), a student success program for second-year students, focusing primarily on student assistance; interfacing with individual STEP students; confirming and processing program completion requirements for fund distribution; and communicating as needed regarding issues with system enhancements. This position requires some weeknight and weekend hours. The coordinator also assists with administrative tasks for the Honors, education abroad, and outreach programs.


Additional Information:

Assists with managing STEP program documentation of student reflections and receipts; updates STEP student dashboards with budgetary and receipting changes as needed; reviews and approves budget submissions; collaborates with STEP administration as issues are identified by program participants; reviews and critiques STEP reflection postings; assists with identification and development of ongoing system needs to support STEP; coordinates logistical details for annual events related to STEP initiatives.

Assists with student recruiting, scheduling and event planning for STEP, Honors, and education abroad; assists with faculty program funding, receipting and reimbursement; manages P-Card process; coordinates STEP partner presentations; works with student proposals and budgets when revisions are needed past the submission deadline; and reviews and approves proposals once the faculty commitment ends.

Assists with web revisions and updates; assists with the STEP kickoff, Expo, and other events; assists with orientation and arrangements for incoming students during the summer (as needed); and other duties as assigned.
