The High Meadows Environmental Institute (HMEI) (https://environment.princeton.edu/) invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate and/or more senior research position with Jonathan Levine’s research group to study (1) the dynamics of populations, communities, or ecosystems, with potential implications for terrestrial carbon storage, or (2) the management of land for the dual and potentially competing goals of biodiversity conservation and natural climate solutions. Within either theme, the research questions and approaches are flexible and will be determined by the successful candidate. She/he will work with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers affiliated with HMEI’s Carbon Mitigation Initiative and will start in summer/fall 2021.
Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. degree in ecology or related field. Appointments are for one year with the expected renewal for a second year based upon satisfactory performance.
