JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The School of Business Administration at Penn State Harrisburg is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach MIS 390: Information Systems Management and Applications for the Fall 2021 semester.


Job Duties

  • Part-time lecturers prepare course lessons, evaluate students, hold regular office hours, and are expected to become proficient with Canvas, the University’s learning management system.  


Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification is a master’s degree in information systems, business, or closely related field.
  • Preferred candidates must have prior teaching experience at the college level in subjects such as management information systems, computer information systems, information technology, or related subjects.   

Applicants will be reviewed based on their background, experience, and educational credentials.

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here .
