Job Description:
The Medical Laboratory Science department offers 2 NAACLS accredited programs: Medical Laboratory Technician and Medical Laboratory Certificate. These programs prepare students through lectures, laboratory activities and hospital-based clinical experience to become Medical Laboratory employees. Students will acquire the skills and knowledge essential for working in a medical laboratory and performing tests that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and the maintenance of health.

Requirements:
- ASCP certification (must have a valid certification number) required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Knowledge of education methods, administration, current NAACLS accreditation procedures, and current national certification procedures.
- Three years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or its equivalent within the last seven years.

Salary: $1,397.00 per credit hour.
