The Testing Center Associate provides services to students and faculty in the RVCC Testing Center. Associates are responsible for proctoring and administering written and computer-based tests following established procedures.
Major Duties and responsibilities:
Proctor paper and computer-based tests.
Perform data entry and filing as needed.
Administer paper and computer-based tests with support from Testing Center Assistants.
Maintain security of records and the integrity of tests.
Answer phones as needed.
Clean testing materials and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Test Center Associates work from 4 to 20 hours a week, depending on testing volume. This position requires availability morning, afternoon, evening and/or occasional Saturdays.
Some evening and Saturday hours are required.
During high demand periods, such as final exam week and the weeks immediately prior to the semester. Associates are expected to be available for 15 to 20 hours per week. At other times, they will typically work fewer hours.
Hourly Rate - $13.00
Students are ineligible to apply.
Alumni are eligible 2 years after graduation from RVCC.
Requires sitting, standing, bending, kneeling and/or crouching, walking, and climbing.
Looking at and utilizing computer monitors.
Occasionally move and lift up to 25 pounds.
