Job Description
Sayres is seeking a Senior Document Specialist in San Diego, Ca with active SECRET security clearance, verifiable in DISS.
Commander, Naval Surface Forces Pacific N3 Department and Afloat Training Group Pacific are responsible for the training and certification of all ships in the Pacific Fleet. Requirements are continually evolving and expanding, requiring increased manpower and flexibility. There is a substantial requirement to improve reliability and productivity of Commander Naval Surface Force Pacific and Afloat Training Group Pacific in San Diego.
Responsibilities
The Contractor shall perform the following types of tasks for Data Analysis support:
- Collect, evaluate, and analyze various levels of data and ensure traceability to requirements at all collecting levels, document findings and/ or provide recommendations or alternatives, market research and data analysis.
- Employ procedures, methods, and tools to identify, represent, and formally assess the important aspects of the options available to assist in making the best possible decision. Decision analysis activities shall provide the basis for evaluating all possible alternatives that will aide in making the optimum decision within the specified selection criteria constraints. This task includes:
- Identification of alternatives to requirements. Generation of reports that support the Decision Analysis tasks, including market research, trade studies, system analysis, trade-off analysis, supportability analysis, risk analysis and operational lessons learned.
- Attend routine maintenance meetings and ensure a complete picture of the material readiness of the Surface Force. Provide a complete picture of the material, personnel, and training readiness of the Surface Force by attending various staff meetings and receiving various staff products.
- Plan, coordinate, facilitate and conduct, in various levels of data collection and analysis efforts associated with the various evolutions. Provide Data Analysis for system data extraction to assure conformance to requirements.
- Analyze operational and maintenance performance data collected.
Qualifications & Clearance Requirements
Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:
- BS/BA. Master's Degree Preferred.
- 15 Years of operational Naval experience.
- Possess Secret Security clearance verifiable in DISS.
Salary:
- The salary for this position is likely $85,000 - $100,000. Salary ranges are not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
