2025 Internship – National Security Analyst for Military Tactics and Operations
Job Description
DescriptionAre you passionate about technical analysis and finding creative approaches to address the critical challenges facing US National Security?
If so, the Operations and Program Analysis Group in the National Security Analysis Department (NSAD) is looking for someone like you!
These critical challenges to US National Security are difficult and typically lack straight-forward approaches to their solutions; thus, they require deep analysis to identify their underlying drivers and creative approaches to develop solutions. Examples of the types of problems that our group in NSAD addresses include:
- How the US armed forces should integrate and use new technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics
- How the US should counter hostile information operations targeting our cyber/social media platforms
- How the US can successfully interdict time critical targets, such as ballistic missile systems, before they are used by adversaries against the US homeland
We seek talented, creative, and inquisitive students who are interested in applying a variety of analysis methods to these kinds of problems, for the good of our nation.
If you’re pursuing a degree in Physical Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer/Data Science, Intelligence Studies, or other relevant disciplines and want to gain experience, we’d love to have you join our team!
