JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The laboratory of Dr. Daniel Hayes in the Biomedical Engineering department seeks to fill a Postdoctoral Scholar position on projects exploring the development of new pharmacokinetic assays for clinical trials.  

Preference will be given to candidates experienced in the following areas: drug synthesis/characterization, assay development, analytical chemistry, antibody validation, LC/MS. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong motivation, critical scientific thinking and creativity, the ability to design and conduct experiments, perform data analysis, assist with student training, and prepare manuscripts for publication. Ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Candidates with at least one year post-doctoral experience and a Ph.D. degree in bioengineering, biochemistry, chemical engineering, molecular, cellular biology or closely related discipline are encouraged to apply. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility of re-funding.
