Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Scholar in Clinical Psychology to join our team! This position will work in the DICE Center at UNR or at the Victims of Crime Treatment Center. Clinical duties will include providing evidence-based therapy to child and adult victims of violence. The Postdoctoral Scholar will also work with families who have a child who is at risk for child abuse. This position will actively participate in weekly clinical team meetings. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the fellow will participate in data/research projects.  Ample opportunities for publication will be provided. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, enjoy being part of a team and are self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and highly professional.

Required Qualifications

PhD or PsyD in Psychology (Clinical) from an APA-accredited institution by time of appointment.

Completion of APA-accredited internship by time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, exposure-based therapies, and working with a broad range of ages.

Individuals with conversational fluency in Spanish.
