Job Summary

This position provides customer service, program support, and some data-entry in the department of Continuing Education. The primary duties include providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and administrative support.

1. Assist students with Enrollment/Payment questions in person, over the phone, or by email.
2. Some data entry. Verify and enter data using the University’s PeopleSoft database including enrollments, drops, and payments.
3. Answer phones.
4. Respond to inquiries from internal Programs.
5. Research and resolve customer related issues in a timely manner.
6. Run and check audit reports. Evaluate reports for accuracy.
7. Prepare departmental deposits.
8. Work as an effective team member.
9. Complete related administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalency, plus two years related experience required (1 year of college education is equivalent to 2 years of related work experience); ability to use logic and reasoning to prioritize tasks.

Computer skills:
- Word processing
- Spreadsheet software
- Database software

Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position responsibilities.
