Laurel Penrose has announced her retirement at the end of this academic year and so we seek a new Chief Executive & Principal to lead us on the next stage of our journey. The Board of Governors is ambitious to become the best college in the region by 2023 and nationally by 2025 and embarked on a new 5 Year Strategic Plan in 2020.
We require a passionate and driven professional to lead this College who has the experience to strike the right balance between the dual role of Chief Executive & Principal and deliver educational excellence together with the wider strategic knowledge and commercial acumen necessary to sustain our progressive growth and stability.
Comfortable with working with many stakeholders on the internal and external stage, you may already be a Principal in another college ready for a new challenge or an aspirational Deputy, or Vice Principal of a successful college who has the capacity to make this final jump to lead Bath College in your own right.
It is not essential for you to come directly from an academic leadership pathway, but you will be able to demonstrate what excellent teaching, learning and assessment looks like and have the drive, rigour and tenacity to lead us to even stronger growth and outcomes and improved financial stability.
