Do you have experience in industrial maintenance and are interested in teaching students your trade?
We are seeking to expand our course and program offerings in Industrial Technology, and we are in search of applicants for a full-time faculty position within the College’s Career and Technical Education division. This is an ongoing 9-month position from mid-August to mid-May, with an anticipated start date in August 2021 for the fall semester.
Full-time faculty are responsible for teaching courses, developing curriculum for the Industrial Technology program, working with local employers, and participating in departmental and College-wide initiatives.
Applicants are not required to have a formal degree, but should have a minimum of 2000 hours of successful work experience in the field as well as the ability to teach a wide range of Industrial Technology-related courses on topics such as electrical and mechanical systems, fluid power, robotics, etc. Teaching/training experience, formal education, certifications, and/or apprenticeship experience in the field are desired, but not required.
The hired individual will be expected to teach a variety of courses in the discipline as assigned.
