Job Summary

The College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, and the Department of Communication and Media at the University of Michigan invite applications for a Lecturer I position at 33.33% effort for the Winter 2025 Term. This appointment is scheduled to begin on January 1, 2025 and end April 30, 2025.

Responsibilities*

Responsibilities include course coordination and teaching a course in the Winter term 2025 about Strategic Communication in Healthcare Organizations

Required Qualifications*

Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in Communication and Media and industry experience. Teaching experience at the college/university level is preferred. 
The selection criteria used for this search is based on how the applicant's education and experience meet the required minimum qualifications for the position. Excellence in teaching and instruction will be the principal criteria used to select the successful candidate.

Modes of Work

Union Affiliation

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
