This is a one year appointment, with an annual review, renewable for up to a maximum of 3 years. A Professor of Practice will be expected to teach four courses each semester and be engaged in outreach activities. Research is strongly encouraged. The candidate will teach Analytics or Decision Science courses (for example FIN 320 Fin Data Analytics and OM 375 Business Operations Management and Analytics) at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
Teach each semester at the undergraduate and/or at the graduate level. The Professor of Practice is expected to play a full-time pedagogical and leadership role in the Analytics and Decision Sciences discipline in the Martin Tuchman School of Management. This role includes active participation in course and program development, close interaction with students and student activities and outreach activities and other duties as appropriate.

At least a Master's degree in Analytics or Decision Sciences or related area. 5+ years of industry experience is preferred. Prior teaching experience at the University level is required. At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be waived if the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically qualifying the candidate for success in the position.
