Responsibilities
- Oversee, supervise, and assist in the performance of expansion, maintenance, calibration, repairs, testing, and commissioning of I&C devices and systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, install, and commission new I&C systems and components.
- Develop software and programming for new and modified control systems, either independently or with the support of third-party vendors.
- Document, manage, and maintain an inventory of I&C parts and equipment for repairs and replacements.
- Conduct compliance audits and calibrations to ensure accuracy of records and reports.
- Research, propose, recommend, and implement new I&C systems, improvements, repairs, or modifications to existing systems.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly, coordinating I&C staff and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Continuously seek to improve operational performance, capability, and cybersecurity posture of I&C systems.
- Provide technical assistance regarding control software and hardware selection, lifecycle management, system interoperability, and design feasibility during upgrades.

Minimum Qualifications
- Up to 10 years of relevant or transferable experience
- In-depth knowledge of steam boilers, turbine generators, electric generators, and related Power Plant equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field with strong controls experience
- Understanding of the theory and operation of steam boilers, turbine generators, electric generators, and related Power Plant equipment
- Experience with Distributed Control Systems (preferably Delta V), process controls, network communications, and instrumentation operation, calibration, and troubleshooting
- CFC license preferred
- Training and competency in Emerson Delta V DCS platform
- Willing and able to acquire other advanced certifications as required by future regulations and departmental needs
