Dr. Rouhi Rad at the Agricultural Sciences Department and South Carolina Water Resources Center at Clemson University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate. The aim of the position is to conduct innovative research in the area of water resources economics in South Carolina, and the Southeast region. The length of the position is up to 15 months.
Scope of Work:
- Collect data and conduct analysis related to water resources economics
- Co-author publications and present research at conferences
- Help in grants writing as needed
- Potential opportunities in mentoring graduate students
Requirements: A Ph.D. in Economics, Applied Economics, Environmental and Resource Economics, Agricultural Economics or a related field is required at the start date.
Preferred qualifications: Experience with R and Python. Experience in either working with hydro-economic models and/or causal inference. A general knowledge of policies related to water resources.
